Jackson County Planning Commission Hearing
October 24, 2024 @ 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm
The planning commission meeting is like the warm up for the final decision at the Board of Commissioners meeting scheduled for November 18. We will get a chance to hear the full Vulcan presentation. We will also get a chance to hear from planning and development professionals of Jackson County and we will get to present our argument for preserving this special area. please review the agenda here.
How you can make a difference
- Show up!
- Wear yellow
- Speak (there is 3 minute public comment period). If you are an expert in land use ,development, hydrology, etc. please contact us
- Write the planning commissioners and planning staff.
